Anna Perashen, PhD
Biography
Graduated: December 2020
Current Location: In Vivo Antibody Discovery, Worcester, MA
Mentor: John M. Sedivy
Description of trainee's research project and progress: Anna Petrashen was a student in the lab of Professor John Sedivy. Her project investigated the manner in which MYC regulates IGF-1 signaling in the mouse. Anna matriculated in the MCB Program in September 2014. She was supported for two years by this T32 (09/01/15-08/31/17). She successfully defended her Ph.D. on December 9, 2019 (time to Ph.D. defense, 5.3 years). She contributed to the publication of four papers while at Brown. One more paper is in preparation. She is currently pursuing postdoctoral studies at Brown University with Dr. John Sedivy.
