Sun Maybury-Lewis (formerly Sun Kim) was a student in the lab of Professor Ashley Webb. Her project investigated how aging-associated changes in chromatin accessibility affect the ability of key transcript factors, BMP and FOXO, to regulate the exit of neural stem cells (NSCs) from quiescence.  Sun matriculated in the MCB Program in September 2014. She was supported for two years by this T32 (09/01/15-08/31/17). She successfully defended her Ph.D. on July 27, 2020 (time to Ph.D. defense, 5.9 years). She contributed to the publication of two papers while at Brown. One more paper is under review and two are in preparation. She is currently pursuing postdoctoral studies Harvard Medical School with Dr. David Sinclair.
